PureDrops
Since its inception in 2013, PureDrops has installed water filters in Nepal, Indonesia, Guatemala, Uganda, and Rwanda. Beyond the tangible impact of installing water filters, a crucial aspect of PureDrops’ efforts involves educating communities about the health risks associated with consuming contaminated water and how to practice proper sanitation and hygiene. In addition to creating a positive impact in the communities it serves, PureDrops also strives to raise awareness and mobilize the community in Switzerland around the topic of clean water and sanitation.
PureDrops’ ongoing success, progress and development owe much to the collaboration with key partners, including SmartPaani, SPOUTS of Water, Ecofiltro, and Cawst.
Our mission is to enable communities around the world to have self-sustaining access to clean drinking water.
The 2023 initiative aims to deepen the incredible impact of our predecessors by installing both ceramic filters for households and bio-sand filters for schools in Lalitpur, Nepal. Our goal is to ensure children have 24/7 access to clean drinking water, 365 days of the year.
